The frame rate for alarm recordings can be specified independently from the frame rate of scheduled recordings. Various video sources can have different frame rates for scheduled recordings.
Power over Ethernet Midspans are available in 1, 6 and 12-port versions. A Power over Ethernet Midspan uses the unused pairs in a standard Cat 5 network cable to supply power to Power over Ethernet-enabled products.
No need for power outlets - Network cameras and video servers can be located in places where traditional power cabling and outlets are unavailable or difficult to install.
Uninterrupted power supply - When using the Power over LAN Midspans together with uninterrupted power supply (UPS) devices, Axis' network cameras and video servers can continue to operate even when there is a power failure.
Low installation costs - Avoids the need for separate power and data cable infrastructure and costly power outlets. No electrician is needed.
IEEE 802.3af compliance - The Power over Ethernet Midspans, PoE AF Active Splitter and AXIS PoE Active Splitter 5V AF are IEEE 802.3af compliant, which ensures compatibility with future power over Ethernet products.
Separate data and power coming over a network cable. They enable Axis network video products that lack built-in support for Power over Ethernet to receive both power and data from a network connection.
